Doing philosophy in prisons has become a very popular form of public philosophy. Here at BC, our very own Prof McCoy has taken up this work. At the Lynch School of Education and Human Development they have also had a longstanding prison-education program. Given some of your shared interests in this work, we will review some of the public philosophy in prisons projects that exist, and talk about who these projects serve and how, and how you could get started. Hopefully, we will also be joined by guest philosophers who do this work first-hand!
